This is not my resume. Think of this piece as an inside look into who I am, who I was, and who I’m hoping to be.

It is well established that I am the son of the neo-Nazi domestic terrorist James von Brunn. A quick Google search should give you enough information, such as my interview with Diane Sawyer, my statement to ABC, and my interview with the SPLC. I am currently working on a book that will delve into the traumas suffered, the indoctrination avoided, abuse, and general history of my family’s evolution, my father’s beliefs, and the results of the relationship I had with him. With this memoir I hope to shed light on the indoctrination practices used and how to overcome them.

I have been awarded a congressional nomination to the Merchant Marine Academy, received a degree in History from the University of Maryland @ College Park, had a successful career in retail management, given a presentation to the FBI regarding the rise of white supremacy, and was fortunate enough to find my soul mate.

As a result of my father’s actions I was denied the chance to earn my certification to teach because, “no one wants their child taught history by the son of a Nazi.” As a result I was forced onto disability due to physical and mental disorders after the loss of my purpose. I used to be a violent alcoholic. I lost the love of my life, who doesn’t even consider me a bad memory. I suffered through and overcame an intense drug addiction and somehow managed to survive. I’ve attempted suicide multiple times, the only benefit of a depression so severe is having a map of the abyss and the ability to find comfort within. I was homeless for a while and will likely become homeless again, after the passing of my wheelchair bound mother, for whom I am a full time caregiver.

I am the poster boy for Murphy’s Law.

Every one of the above statements has a short novella’s worth of explanation and information that I am willing to discuss and explain to anyone interested. It is my hope that one day I will publish the book regarding life with my father and showcase the indoctrination methods employed by the far right and how to fight them. I would like to be able to help those infected by the disease of racism through public speaking, writing, or working with legitimate CVE (Countering Violent Extremism) programs. To also write fantasy, historical fiction, and turn non-fiction into historical philosophy.

I’m happy to answer any questions with unabashed honesty.
